This Yuasa YTZ12S Motorcycle Battery is a sealed MF, Maintenance Free, and Factory activated. As with all sealed motorcycle batteries for the best results and optimum life they should be charged with an intelligent Motorcycle Battery Charger such as an Optimate 2 Motorcycle Battery Charger or an Optimate 3 Motorcycle Battery Charger. Please note that this battery should not be charged with a standard car or motorcycle lead/acid battery charger as this may cause damage to the battery cells.
