R&G Paddock Stand Bobbins, or R&G Cotton Reels as they have recently been known as, are designed to fit the Suzuki SV1000. These motorcycle bobbins screw directly in to the existing threads on the underside of the swinging arm so that a rear fork type paddock stand can be used to lift the back end of the motorcycle safely and easily. These bobbins and paddock stand make routine maintenance and cleaning easier as there is not a centre stand fitted as standard.
This R&G Bobbin Kit also offers some crash protection by having these two additional and to some degree sacrificial points of contact in a fall. The R&G Crash Protectors Suzuki SV1000 up to 2005 or the R&G Crash Protectors for Suzuki SV1000 2006 onwards are both available for these motorcycles, models and years.
